Newport Beach Baseball Association

NBBA Fall 2018

Welcome

NEWPORT BEACH  BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the Newport Beach Baseball Association Fall Ball 2018 Registration!

The Newport Beach Baseball Association (NBBA) Fall Ball program is a great opportunity for your child to develop their baseball skills in a fun, relaxed environment. It is the perfect opportunity for 7 to 14 year old players to prepare for Player Evaluations in January for the Spring 2019 season.

Eligible players will be PONY League age 7-14 years old (DOB 09-01-2004 to 08/31/2012). There is one practice (TBD) and one game (Sunday) per week. Games for the 7-12 year old players are played at the Buffalo Hills 1 and Bonita Canyon Sports Park fields.  There will be inter-league play with Dana Point, Irvine and Newport Harbor. The 13-14 year old Pony Division (if formed) plays home games at Eastbluff field and away games at the participating PONY league fields.

Note:  The 13-14 year old PONY division team can only be created if there are enough players to form a full roster (11-15 players) and there is a volunteer manager.  If you have a PONY age 13 or 14 year old player then please consider volunteering to manage the team.

Registration fee is $165 per player.

Fall Ball Dates:

Registration Closes 09/01/2018 or sooner at the discretion of the Fall Ball Coordinator. Any interested players after this date will be added based on team roster sizes to fill out the teams and maintain the best experience for all players.

Practices begin September 15, 2018
Games begin September 16, 2018
Playoffs, end of season November 17-18, 2018

If you are interested in managing a Fall Ball team, contact Michael Gartner, NBBA Player Agent

Note: Managers that volunteer for the Fall Ball program are automatically given an interview for a spring 2019 manager position.
