Welcome to NBBA'S Spring 2024 Registration

Newport Beach Baseball Association is the premier PONY youth baseball organization for Newport Beach.  Anyone between the ages of 3 and 14 is invited to play in the league.  Information on the divisions, including guidance on which division is appropriate for your player, is available online and during the registration process.

While there are no geographic boundaries to our league, NBBA draws players primarily from the neighborhoods East of Newport's Back Bay (Newport Beach, Newport Coast, Port Streets, Corona del Mar, Eastbluff, Irvine, etc).

Our practices and games take place at various locations around Newport Beach:

• Little Newps (ages 3 and 4) and Shetland (ages 5 and 6) have activities at Buffalo Hills Park (Andersen Elementary) and Lincoln Elementary school fields.
• Pinto American Machine Pitch (age 7) practices and games are at Lincoln Elementary school fields.
• Pinto National Kid Pitch (age 8) practices and games are historically at Buffalo Hills Park (Andersen Elementary) and Bonita Canyon Sports Park.
• Mustang (ages 9 and 10) practices and games are at Bonita Canyon Sports Park Fields.
• Bronco (ages 11 and 12) practices and games are at Lincoln Elementary School (Boras Field) and Bonita Canyon Sports Park Field 3.
• Pony (ages 13 and 14) practices and games are at Eastbluff Field and various local fields depending on interleague game schedules.

The league emphasizes player development in a fun and safe atmosphere.

Players new to the league must submit age verification documents during the registration process. There will be a link to upload your Player’s birth certificate once you have created an account and started registration.

AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR 2024 SEASON

NBBA Recreation accepts players between the age of 3 and 14 years old with a Date of Birth (DOB) between 5/1/2009 and 12/31/2020. 

NBBA is an 'an under' division league. The registration process will guide you to the recommended division for your child to play based on age but options to play in other divisions are available based on your child's skill level, grade in school, etc.

Note this registration is for NBBA Recreation only.  Information on NBBA's Select Program (Tridents), including details for the January tryouts, will be released closer to January.  The Tridents Program is an advanced baseball training program for players who want to take their game to the next level and is open for players in 5th thru 8th Grade (with a Date of Birth between 5/1/2009 and 4/30/2013).  If your child is only interested in trying out for one of the NBBA Select Tridents Teams, there is no need to fill out this registration.  If you are unsure whether your child wants to play Rec or Select, we encourage you to continue with this registration.

SPRING 2024 Early Bird REGISTRATION FEES

$405 for Pinto National, Mustang, Bronco, and Pony
$385 for Shetland and Pinto American
$355 for Little Newps

Fees will increase by $100 on Jan 1, 2024.
